As for the sites - this site is on a different server than Lost Laowai and Hao Hao Report so I'm not sure why they would both be running slow (on a regular basis)... HHR is a slow loading site unfortunately... mostly due to the software... but unless you have a better open-source meme-style software package up your sleeve... not much I can do about it.
